Les Constructeurs du Bois: good progression in profitability

(Boursier.com) — The company The Wood Builders achieved a turnover of €6.04 million over the first half of the year, up 37% compared to the first half of 2022. In a context of overall deterioration in the real estate development market, LCB confirms the robustness of its economic model combining a global offer of wooden construction and the privileged use of short circuits. Fully meeting the decarbonization requirements of the City of tomorrow, LCB benefits from growing demand from institutions for its residential and tertiary offers. A key indicator of the group’s growth, block sales, which have been multiplied by 2, now represent 70% of sales and tertiary activity is increasing by 30% compared to the first half of 2022.

Despite an adverse economic situation marked by persistent inflation in the price of raw materials, LCB’s production margin has clearly improved: it stands at 1.49 ME, i.e. a doubling compared to that of the first half of the year. ‘Previous exercice. It represents 24.6% of turnover, an increase of 7.9 points. In a context of a sharp increase in the volume of its activities, the group has succeeded in optimizing the costs of its raw materials while adjusting its sales prices as best as possible.

In the first half of 2023, EBITDA, which more than doubled, grew by 137.7% to €0.67 million. The net result reached 0.45 ME, almost 2.5 times more than that observed in H1 2022 and a net margin of 7.5%.

LCB reiterates its full confidence in its ability to reach a turnover of 30 ME in 2025. The group intends very soon to request the transfer of its shares to Euronext Growth in order to support its growth and increase the attractiveness and the liquidity of the security.
