Les Enfoirés 2022: another blow for the troop

Following the announcements of Prime Minister Jean Castex this Monday, December 27, Les Enfoirés 2022 suffer a new hard blow.

The verdict is in. This Monday, December 27, the Prime Minister Jean Castex and the Minister of Health Olivier Véran spoke publicly after a Council of Ministers and a new Council of health defense of the government. From new measures announced, there is one that will not please the Enfoirés troop. Indeed, the government has just established the return of gauges in major events. Thus, these are now limited to 2,000 people indoors and 5,000 outdoors maximum. Standing concerts are prohibited.

Because of these two new arrangements, the team made up of around forty artists and for a long time led by Jean-Jacques Goldman, will not be able to give its traditional charity concerts for the benefit of Restos du coeur. Usually organized in January throughout France before being rebroadcast a few weeks later on TF1 this year, six shows were scheduled to take place from Thursday 20 to Monday 24 January 2022 inclusive.

New measures announced by the government

Among the other measures put in place to curb the spread of the Covid-19 epidemic, Jean Castex announced the time reduction between the last vaccine dose and the booster dose, which now goes to three months instead of four. From Monday January 3 and for three weeks, it will also be forbidden to stand in bars and cafes, it will therefore be necessary to consume exclusively seated. While in cinemas, theaters and public transport, including during long-distance journeys by train or TGV, it will be impossible to eat and drink. However, no curfew is planned for Christmas Eve on December 31, and the start of the school year, scheduled for January 3, is not postponed. Classes are held face-to-face. On the business side, on the other hand, teleworking becomes “compulsory” when possible, at a rate of “three days minimum per week”, from January 3rd.
