Les Grosses Têtes: an emblematic member will return after a passage by the government

The Big Heads will find one of their emblematic members! At the start of the next school year, in fact, Roselyne Bachelot will make her big comeback in the RTL program hosted by Laurent Ruquier. “After almost two years of absence due to her appointment to the Ministry of Culture under the presidency of Emmanuel Macron, Roselyne Bachelot will return to the legendary program Les Grosses Têtes, at the start of the 2022 school year”, can we read on the RTL website. Replaced at the Ministry of Culture by Rima Abdul Malak on May 20, Roselyne Bachelot will have a few months of vacation before resuming radio service. “I am full of joy that Laurent Ruquier, with whom I have very strong ties, offered it to me again. We agreedshe told the Parisian. I obviously let these three and a half months of resourcing pass and I will resume things at the start of the school year.

“It’s a show that I really like. It’s popular, mixing culture and laughter in an often Rabelaisian spirit but which is completely in line with French tradition.added the former Minister of Culture to our colleagues. And with great pleasure. “I left civilian life to accept this very heavy task entrusted to me by the President of the Republic. I was on a commando operation to save culture, I did it with all the strength of my conviction. And now, I find my life of before. There is nothing new, in fact”, she reacted in the columns of the Parisian. And to pay tribute to the host of the Big Heads: “In any case, I’m really happy to be working with Laurent Ruquier again. He’s a guy with a huge heart, an aspect of his personality that is generally unknown”.

Roselyne Bachelot: “You must not be stuck”

Aware that her return to the radio after having been in the government will necessarily inspire her comrades, Roselyne Bachelot is ready. “People will take the stings they want on the government and I will take the ones I want, warns the former minister to Le Parisien. Fortunately, we are in a country where debate exists, where it is free and where it is expressed in all ways. You don’t have to be afraid of all this. You don’t have to be stuck.” And his return to the Big Heads is not his only project. “In particular, I’m preparing a book, the manuscript of which I have to return on September 30 and which will occupy me for a good part of my vacation. I will divide myself between reading in a deck chair and writing in an armchair. No retirement in sight!”, she jokes again. As a reminder, Roselyne Bachelot was an active member of the Big Heads from 2015 to 2020 before entering the government.
