Baby news in the “Let’s Dance” team. Renata (35) and Valentin Lusin (35) become parents. The broadcaster announced this on Wednesday morning. “The ‘Let’s Dance’ family is growing. Renata and Valentin Lusin are expecting their first child together and we heartily congratulate them on this special message,” it says on the Instagram page the RTL dance show.
“Yes, I somehow have a happy and a crying eye. Crying because unfortunately I can’t be part of ‘Let’s Dance’ from now on. And the happy news: that I’m pregnant,” Renate comments on the happy news in conversation with the broadcaster.
Who will stand in for Renata Lusin?
Renata Lusin, the 2021 winner, was still listed when this year’s dance professionals were announced. But according to the above post, that’s different now and her replacement is already in the starting blocks: “Renata’s focus is now on family and health. We are therefore also happy to announce that instead of Renata Malika Dzumaev, this year’s professional team of ‘ Let’s Dance’ supports. Welcome back to the dance floor, dear Malika”.
“20 years hand in hand”
The day before, on Valentine’s Day, Renata and Valentin had celebrated their love with a photo and video collage. “20 years hand in hand! Every day is Valentine’s Day with you! Just thankful! Happy Valentine’s Day, whether as a couple or single. Spread love and smile on this beautiful and sunny day,” it says in the joint post. As early as October 2022, Renata indicated in an RTL interview that the two would like to become parents in 2023.
The 16th season of the dance show “Let’s Dance” starts on Friday (February 17) with the introductory show, where the professional-celebrity pairings are announced.
