Bitter news for all fans of John Kelly (53, "An Ancient Story") who have crossed their fingers for the musician on "Let's Dance". After Kelly had to cancel at short notice for the fourth episode of the dance show last week, broadcaster RTL has now made it public that it will not return to the stage this season.
This gives the Dutch model Loiza Lamers (25) and her dance partner Andrzej Cibis (32) a second chance. The two of them had actually been given the fewest points and were chosen in episode four, but are now moving up for the ailing Kelly and his dance partner Regina Luca (31).
The reason for Kelly's resignation is given a case of illness in his family as well as "most difficult circumstances in the Spanish hometown". Next Friday, March 27th, Lamers will try to use their return to convince Joachim Llambi (55), the audience and Co., this time.
