Gabriel Kelly tearfully says goodbye to Ann-Kathrin Bendixen

Gabriel Kelly and Ann-Kathrin Bendixen are not just the chicks on “Let’s Dance” – they also have a deep friendship right from the start. It’s all too understandable that the musician finds it difficult to say goodbye to his “monkey” when the influencer “Monkey on Bike” has to end her journey on “Let’s Dance” on Friday. After the show ended, the two of them lay in each other’s arms crying and letting their emotions run wild. In an interview with RTL, Gabriel Kelly is next to the dancing couple Ann-Kathrin Bendixen and Valentin Lusin. Together they are annoyed about being eliminated so shortly before the show in which Bendixen would have danced her “Magic Moment”. “I wish you did so much,” Kelly says, visibly upset.

Valentin Lusin then correctly states: “It is still so much more valuable. What has just been created here,” alluding to the close friendship between the two participants. Both can only nod in agreement. In any case, their friendship continues after the show. Kelly reports that he and the enthusiastic motorcyclist have already planned an adventure to India. Bendixen reiterates this intention on Instagram. While she is telling her followers her next travel plans, she writes in a post: “After the final, me and Gabriel Kelly are going to India.”

And until then, she will definitely keep her fingers crossed for her boyfriend.

Ann-Kathrin Bendixen would have been ashamed if she had progressed further

After Ann-Kathrin Bendixen, 24, had to leave the field in the last “Let’s Dance” show, the influencer went to Flensburg and is enjoying her free time there. She reveals in her Instagram story that she wants to go camping with friends and build a campfire. But the dance show isn’t completely written off for the 24-year-old: she’ll try to sit in the audience next Friday, May 3rd, to cheer on the remaining candidates

While she tells her followers this, she emphasizes again that it was right to vote her out. She thinks back to the moment when she stood at the front with her dance partner Valentin Lusin, 37, as well as Detlef Soost, 53, and Ekaterina Leonova, 37. In these seconds the dancing couples had to worry about getting ahead. “I would have been ashamed to move forward,” says Ann-Kathrin now and adds: “That’s why it’s exactly right the way it is.”

Ann-Kathrin Bendixen draws an honest conclusion after “Let’s Dance” ends! “I’ll only cry to a certain extent afterwards”

On Friday evening the time had come: Ann-Kathrin Bendixen, 24, had to leave “Let’s Dance”. Together, she and dance partner Valentin Lusin, 37, couldn’t bring their samba to the dance floor convincingly enough. In the end, 15 points from the jury were not enough. Immediately after the show, the influencer, who became known online as “Monkey on Bike,” announced that this was “absolutely justified.” Now she draws a detailed, honest conclusion in an Instagram post. Because although she mentions all the positive things that came with her participation in “Let’s Dance”, she also gives a very open insight into her inner life and that not everything was just perfect for her.

“I almost felt a little trapped. Trapped in a golden, beautiful cage,” she says, describing the paradox the show presented for her. Because she might even miss the contents of this box a little. But she is drawn back to nature, to freedom. “I won’t cry for the glamor world with its high heels, the spotlight and the make-up,” she reveals. In contrast to “dancing with my friends” as well as the “people from the mask, the outfits, the production, my little team, the society”.

Ultimately, Ann-Kathrin Bendixen is above all grateful. She sums up the collaboration with her dance partner in loving words: “Valentin, a kind-hearted person. The training couldn’t have been funnier or nicer. I’ll miss laughing together! And that’s exactly why it certainly won’t be our last project Thank you Valentin Lusin for your time, patience and all the humor. I just wish you and Renata Lusin the well-deserved time together. What an honor it was for me to get to know your family and experience everything up close. To be part of it all for a few moments, to see you full of happiness and pride at training, all the pictures of the little ones and your daddy smile, I wish you only the best.”
