There have been some love affairs in the “Let’s Dance” story – up to and including weddings. Which professional dancers also crackle privately?

Malika Dzumaev and Zsolt Sandor Cseke

Since 2015, Malika Dzumaev, 31, has formed a dance couple with dancer Zsolt Sándor Cseke, 34, who is also part of the professional dancer ensemble of “Let’s Dance” this season. Not only did it spark between the dancing couple on the dance floor, but also privately they are a loving couple. Together they won the Northern European Champion title in Latin American dances in 2018. Malika Dzumaev and Zsolt Sándor Cseke are currently North German champions in the special class of Latin. The dancing couple is currently one of the top 4 in Germany.

Christin Luft and Evgeny Vinokurov

Christina, 32, and Evgeny, 31, were successful as a sporting duo in a number of competitions in Germany and Europe. But the two were not only a couple on the floor, but also privately, and even engaged. In 2017, Evgeny Vinokurov and Christina Luft parted ways after twelve years together. Evgeny found his happiness in love again with Nina Bezzubova: the two became parents of a son in 2021. Christina Luft is also on cloud nine: the 32-year-old is even engaged to Luca Hänni, 27, whom she once taught to dance on the floor.

Renata and Valentin Lusin

Renata, 34, and Valentin Lusin, 35, have both been on the dance floor since childhood. At the Latin and Show Dance World Championships 2021 in Leipzig, they made it to the top of the podium and won gold. A worthy end to her career! At the peak of their success, the two professional dancers said goodbye to competitive dance. “We’ve really been dancing together for 18 years, a total of over 25 years of dance sport. You have to train every day and we said we’d like to have new challenges and new tasks,” Renata explained to “RTL”. It is quite possible that the couple will take care of planning the children next: the first baby is already more than just being planned, as they revealed to GALA in the interview.

Kathrin Menzinger and Vadim Gabuzov

Vadim Gabuzov, 34, and Kathrin Menzinger, 33, were a couple for seven years. The two separated in 2015, but are still pursuing a common professional path. They had the chance to become world champions for the first time – and they did it, twice in a row. Both also took part in the big “Let’s Dance – Professional Challenge” and danced their story. At that time, Kathrin revealed in an interview: “We are like fire and water.” Therefore, there were sometimes arguments in joint training. Overall, however, there is absolute harmony between the two – also with their new partners, Vadim’s friend Nicole and Kathrin’s friend Max. “There is a very good connection there,” the professional dancer explained happily in the video. “It’s an unusual thing,” said Vadim. But all four prove that it works.

Dance professional Patricija Ionel, 27, is also married to her peer Alexandru Ionel, 27. The dancers first dived into the TV dance world in season 14. The two have been married since mid-January 2022 and announced the birth of their first child a few days later.

Christian Polanc and Melissa Ortiz Gomez

Christian Polanc, 43, has been a professional dancer on the RTL dance show “Let’s Dance” since 2007. Only in Season 1 did the native of Ingolstadt not get involved. In 2011 he danced away from the camera with Melissa Ortiz-Gomez, 39. Professionally, after two months of training, they surprised by winning the German Freestyle Latin Championship. The two professional dancers were in a relationship until 2013 and can also be seen on “Let’s Dance” at the same time. Incidentally, Melissa cited changed feelings and different expectations as the reason for the breakup. She had her last appearance on “Let’s Dance” in 2013.
