Daniel Hartwich + Hannah Hölscher
This is how the “Let’s Dance” presenter lives privately
As “Let’s Dance” presenter and RTL face, Daniel Hartwich has become an integral part of the German TV landscape. His family still comes first for the television star.
Daniel Hartwich, 45, is one of the most famous TV faces in Germany and is considered an RTL entertainment weapon. Since 2010, the “Let’s Dance” presenter has been fighting words with jury member Joachim Llambi, 59, and has moderated major shows such as “Das Supertalent”. His trademark? repartee. But Hartwich also knows how to set priorities and cancel TV engagements – like presenting the annual TV highlight “I’m a Star – Get Me Out of Here!” The reason? His family.
“Let’s Dance” presenter Daniel Hartwich gave up his jungle camp job for his family
In February 2022, RTL announced in a press release that Daniel Hartwich would no longer be the face of the jungle camp alongside Sonja Zietlow, 55. “The reason for this is my family, who will no longer be able to accompany me in the future because of compulsory schooling,” Daniel Hartwich told the broadcaster. A private decision, his family is his immediate priority.
Lack of sleep during filming
Daniel Hartwich once experienced the time during the jungle camp filming as a strenuous effort. “The show would be much less strenuous if days in Australia had 32 hours instead of 24,” he told GALA in 2015. The lack of sleep was particularly difficult for the father. In order to catch up on an hour of sleep here and there, he even “skipped breakfast and exercise,” Hartwich told “Bild” in 2018.
This has come to an end since children are compulsory at school. The presenter is currently thrilled again every Friday evening on “Let’s Dance” alongside Victoria Swarovski, 30. Although he is private, he is happy to share when it comes to other celebrities like Rebecca Mir or Massimo Sinató, 43.
Hartwich has a successful partner
For example, he appeared alongside his partner Hannah Hölscher at the Bavarian Television Prize in Munich’s venerable Prinzregententheater in May 2012.
In the same year, Hölscher appeared on the red carpet again – an appearance with a special background: The journalist was honored at the 7th “CNN Journalist Awards” on March 27th in Munich.
Her “stern TV” contribution “Ethan McCord” won the prize in the TV category. The short film is about US soldier Ethan McCord, who returned from his deployment in the Iraq War severely traumatized, as well as the severe psychological consequences and financial worries of his family. Daniel Hartwich can rightly be proud of his partner.
