Hardly any other show has as much physical contact as “Let’s Dance”. Sparks flew while dancing with these dream couples.
Sparks fly between Tango, Cha Cha Cha and Salsa. Both the celebrities and the dance professionals from “Let’s Dance” (RTL) prove that. Some couples got to know and love each other on the show. Others came to the format together, but one thing is certain: dancing brings people together and real dream couples can even arise.
The real winners of the show
Luca Hänni (27) and Christina Luft (32) danced together across the floor in 2020. The “DSDS” winner from 2012 and the professional dancer got to know and love each other during the show. Together they took third place. Already during the show it was rumored that the two were a secret couple. The reason for this was Hänni’s separation from his girlfriend at the time. After the show, the two then announced: They are lovers. In the singer’s home country, Switzerland, they have now bought a house. They’ve also been engaged since the beginning of this year. Christina Luft is also dancing again with a singer in the current season: Mike Singer (22).
Rebecca Mir (30) and her current husband Massimo Sinató (41) also met in 2012 on “Let’s Dance”. They didn’t win the show, but they did win love. After all, the duo ended up in second place. In 2015 they celebrated their dream wedding in Sicily. The couple now has a son together. The dancer paused for his wife and child last season. This year he’s back and dancing with Amira Pocher (29) for victory.
Nastassja Kinski (61) and Ilia Russo (35) did not dance together. Despite this, the actress and the professional dancer fell in love during the show in 2016. A few months after the end of “Let’s Dance”, Kinski moved from Los Angeles to Russo in Baden-Baden. But the relationship only lasted a few months.
The couples among the professional dancers
The two dance professionals Malika Dzumaev (31) and Zsolt Sándor Cseke (34) learned to love each other on the floor. But not with “Let’s Dance”: As a dance partner, they won several titles far away from the RTL show. The Romanian moved to Bremen for his sweetheart. Dzumaev danced with the TV show in 2021, while Cseke made his debut this year. She dances with actor Timur Ülker (32). He shows his talent with presenter Janin Ullmann (40).
The dancing and married couple Renata Lusin (34) and Valentin Lusin (35) won the “Let’s Dance Professional Challenge” last year. In the same year they ended their professional career together. In the current season they dance against each other again. As the winner of the “Challenge”, she was allowed to choose her dance partner. Her choice fell on athlete Mathias Mester (35). Her husband dances with young politician Caroline Bosbach (32). Renata and Valentin Lusin have been married to each other since 2014.
Dance professional Patricija Ionel (27) is also married to her peers Alexandru Ionel (27). The two have been married since mid-January 2022 and announced the birth of their first child a few days later. Nevertheless, the dancer wanted to fight for the trophy this year with actor Hardy Krüger Jr. (53). But he canceled due to Corona. Patricija’s husband is not featured in this year’s season. In 2021 he left the first show with pop singer Vanessa Neigert (29), Patricija finished fourth with boxer Simon Zachenhuber (23).
