The NM800 PRO is no exception.

Designed to support the PCIe Gen4x4 NVMe 1.4 standard, this drive is twice as fast as PCIe 3.0 SSDs and up to 12 times faster than SATA SSDs.

It’s a racehorse capable of hitting read speeds of up to 7500MB/s and write speeds of up to 6500MB/s. I tested the drive in a number of different conditions, and the advertised performance is on point.

This is a fast drive (although you should bear in mind that the 512GB version’s write speeds are limited to 3,500MB/s). The addition of a heatsink means the drive stays nice and cool, meaning it performs more reliably when pushed hard.
