With a screen diagonal of around 2.5 meters, the flagship TV G2 from LG has a record new addition: The 97-inch OLED television 97G2 contains the largest display of its kind that is currently installed as standard in TV sets for home use.

Now LG has announced that it will finally bring the huge TV onto the market. The Korean electronics giant intends to announce the exact start dates for the international markets, including Germany, in the coming weeks.

The G2 series, which is equipped with the particularly bright OLED Evo displays, is already available in sizes between 42 and 88 inches. In the foreseeable future, the 97-inch version will not only bring a new spatial dimension into play, but will also be in other spheres in terms of price: the huge television will probably have a price tag of around 25,000 euros.
