LG unveils its new ultra-short-throw laser projector, ideal for your cinema sessions at home

If you’ve been thinking about turning your living room into a real cinema, LG may have found the solution for you. Indeed, the South Korean manufacturer has just lifted the veil on a brand new model of video projector high-end: the HU715QE 4K ultra short throw.

As it prepares to compete with Samsung with the announcement of a lifestyle TV, electronics giant LG has just unveiled a new model of 4K video projector. The ambition is clear: to become the new reference in terms of home cinema experience.

The CineBeam range is growing

A few weeks earlier, the South Korean manufacturer launched two high-end video projectors on the market: the HU715Q and HU710P models, from the CineBeam family. Two devices certainly well equipped in terms of technology, which already promised a most captivating home cinema experience.

Today, the brand has just announced that a new member will soon join the CineBeam range: the HU715QE. As its name may suggest, it is a direct successor to the HU715Q model, launched in the first quarter of 2022. Something to set the tone for the capabilities on board this future model.

LG HU715QE: a high-end projector, designed for movie buffs

With its HU715QE, LG offers a 4K video projector equipped with “Ultra Short Throw” technology. The promise ? Addressing all cinema lovers to offer them an unparalleled experience at home.

The HU915QE model can project images on a surface from 90 to 120 inches (diagonal), and promises sharp, faithful and realistic images. Capable of generating 3700 ANSI lumens, this device is the most advanced model in the CineBeam range launched by LG. With its three-channel laser, as well as its separate light source for each primary color, this model differs in particular from its predecessor, the HU915Q model, and thus ensures greater immersion in daylight.

This video projector allows you to view your favorite content, in particular via the various streaming services (Netflix, Disney+, Apple TV, etc.), accessible via the webOS platform, all in 4K HDR. LG’s new baby also benefits from “HDR Dynamic Tone” technology, in order to offer a more precise image adjustment, as well as from the “Brightness Optimizer” device, which consists in managing the brightness according to the light. ambient. If you want to extend the experience from your smartphone or tablet, you can use the “Screen Mirroring” function, accessible via Bluetooth and Apple AirPlay2.

Finally, the sound experience cannot be neglected, count on the presence of integrated 2.2-channel and 40 W speakers to accompany your viewing sessions with clear, intense and immersive sound. Expected for the second quarter of 2022, the HU915QE will make its first steps in Europe, North America and the Middle East, before landing some time later in Latin America and Asia.
