After Samsung, it’s LG’s turn to unveil the prices of its 2022 catalog.

As was the case last year, the manufacturer has posted its prices for the German market. We can expect prices to vary little in France.

Prices that only drop on the top of the range

Will LG remain one of the manufacturers to offer the cheapest OLED TV on the market this year? Nothing is less certain, since looking at the prices for 2022, the majority of models will be more expensive than last year, including the A2 series, supposed to be the most accessible. Good news on the other hand for those who wish to afford large diagonals at the top of the range: the prices drop significantly for the G2 series and its Design Gallery.

This is also the case of the 8K OLED television, which sees its price drop for the 77-inch model. We are still talking about a significant drop on this model compared to last year. Indeed, its price goes from 20,000 to 15,000 euros. The 88-inch version of the Z2, meanwhile, does not move, with a price set at 30,000 euros.

Coming to succeed a C1 range which currently offers the best value for money on the market, the C2 series will offer a new diagonal of 42 inches which extends the manufacturer’s catalog. However, this has an impact on prices: this 42-inch version will be marketed at the same price as the 48OLEDC1 from last year. Domino effect obliges, all the references of this range thus see their prices increase, with the exception of the 83-inch model which will be sold 7,500 euros instead of 8,000 last year. But enough talk, here is the price list of the LG OLED catalog below.

LG QNED: the prices of LED and Mini-LED TVs

There are no big surprises when it comes to the Korean manufacturer’s LED and Mini-LED TVs. LG has announced its prices, however ignoring the Mini-LED series in 8K UHD, the LG QNED95 and LG QNED99.

We also find something that we had already announced at CES 2022, namely that the LG QNED80 series will not have Mini-LED backlighting, but a classic Edge-LED. This naming brings a little confusion, but it perhaps shows LG’s desire to group all its LED TVs under the QNED brand in the coming years. We therefore have Mini-LED televisions whose price is logically much more affordable than that of OLED televisions. Finally, the prices of NanoCell televisions and lower ranges have also been revealed.
