While the CES in Las Vegas will open its doors next week, the Korean manufacturer LG has decided to take the lead by unveiling, a few days before the opening, two new sound bars which will be presented on site from January 5th.

As anticipated in recent weeks, these two soundbars will benefit from the firm’s new WOW Orchestra technology. Like Q Symphony at Samsung, this feature allows you to enjoy, in addition to the audio output of the soundbar, the sound of the speakers of the LG TV to which it is connected, all in order to offer a sound experience more immersive. These are also two sound bars that have already been unveiled by LG, the LG SC9 and the LG SE6.

However, LG has not yet made the point on the differences between the two soundbars, except that the LG SE6 is a more compact model with four passive radiators for bass reproduction. The form is content for the time being above all to communicate on the functionalities common to the two models. This is particularly the case with the Triple Sound Optimizer function, which will make it possible to “boosterยป the audio capabilities of soundbars, but we don’t yet know how. The Smart-Up mixer function allows you to transform a stereo source into surround sound.

In terms of audio characteristics and architecture, LG has integrated three upward-facing speakers on its two soundbars, so as to offer compatibility with Dolby Atmos and with DTS:X.

LG also indicates that the two soundbars are compatible with VRR and ALLM to allow good quality HDMI transmission, especially for game consoles with support for 4K definition at 120 Hz.

We should know more about the new sound bars from LG during their official presentation. This will take place at CES in Las Vegas. The Korean manufacturer has already announced that it will hold its opening conference on July 5 at 1 a.m., Paris time.
