  • With the Futa, Ducati presents its first racing bike with a motor.
  • The e-bike is available in two versions. The limited special edition is particularly elegant.
  • The e-racing bike weighs 12.4 kilograms

Ducati stands for fast bikes and motorsport. Interestingly, however, Ducati’s first e-bike was an e-mountain bike. Now the Italian manufacturer, which is part of the Audi Group, is following suit and presenting the Futa e-racing bike. It migrates from the start to our e-bike highlights of the year.

Presentation Ducati Futa

The e-bike comes like a Panigale with fiery red paintwork, but of course not with its V4 engine. Instead, an Italian FSA System HM 1.0 drive ensures befitting acceleration and 42 Newton meters of torque. With an output of 250 watts, the motor remains within the legal framework of a pedelec that does not require registration.

As with the Urwahn Gravel Bike we tested, shifting is electronic, so no shift cables are necessary. The 2×12 setup is from K Force. The hydraulic disc brakes come from the same supplier.
