The world of Lightyear Frontier is filled with mystery and wonder, where you can use a mecha while peacefully maintaining your farm. Add new plants to your crops and explore the different environments to discover old secrets and make new friends. Be in harmony with nature and use research to create a sustainable and successful farm.
Build your new home
Build your home the way you want, starting with basic plans for your plots and utility buildings. Once you collect new materials from your adventures, you can study new structures to add, and use different technologies to grow your farm and improve your mech. You can also spice things up by decorating your home with color tints and barriers!
In addition to the essential things for your farm, research will unlock more advanced features, such as working materials and farming. When everything is in place, your land will be ready so that you can optimize your days without having to worry about basic tasks.
Exploiting extraterrestrial fields
It will be essential to use what surrounds you to thrive! Collect alien seeds as you travel across this new planet. Start with a basic plot, use the seed gun to plant them, and water your plots to get your first harvest. With enough research, you will unlock larger plots, fertilizers and other technologies that will allow you to obtain a sustainable and high quality field.
Sometimes the weather will work in your favor with heavy showers, but harsh weather conditions can also damage your crops. Each plant has different conditions and needs to grow, so keep an eye out for them! Once these mature, you can sell them or use them as raw material to create components. These will allow you to build modules for your mech, buildings and more.
Objective: the horizon
Going on an adventure, you will discover a world full of riches. In the beginning, you will only be able to move in a basic way and jump using your thrusters, but you will still be able to go far and cross different environments that have their own weather, flora and fauna. Your legs may not be enough to navigate all environments, but after some research, you will unlock new transport modules. Feel free to use crawlers or boost your thrusters before heading out into the wilderness!
