Ligue 1: Lens loses to Metz!

Racing Club de Lens was beaten by FC Metz at the opening of the 29th day of Ligue 1 (1-2). The Lensois started the match perfectly thanks to a penalty converted by Florian Sotoca just before the quarter of an hour of play (13′). The locals will react then regain the advantage thanks to an excellent Georges Mikautadze, author of a double (34′, 45+2′). The Georgian scored his eighth and ninth goals of the season in Ligue 1. 6th, Lens misses a very good opportunity to get closer to the top 4 by losing on the lawn of a relegation player. The Lorraines remain 17th, but return to equal points with Lorient, play-offs.
