Monaco makes the show! In a new show of offensive strength, AS Monaco largely won against RC Lens 3 goals to 0 at the Louis II stadium. Adi Hutter’s men first opened the scoring from a corner and a header from Singo (24′), before Golovin took over a nice pass from Minamino in the area (36′). Maripan came to complete the Monegasque success by crossing his head well on a new corner on the hour mark. Lacking inspiration, the Lensois never seemed able to worry the locals. Thanks to this new victory, Monaco regains the lead of the championship with 10 points on the clock. Lens sinks a little more with this third defeat of the season and is in 17th place.
