Ligue 2: Saint-Étienne makes Laval crack!

by Mattys Bernard (iDalgo)

Undefeated in 9 home games, Laval came up against something stronger this evening. Opposed to Saint-Étienne for this final meeting of the 11th day of Ligue 2 BKT, the Laval residents lost by the smallest of margins (1-0). In a match bringing together the two best defenses in the championship, the attackers barely existed. Ibrahim Sissoko (13th) still managed to find an opening to bring victory to his team. This success allows the Greens to continue their series of invincibility (9) but above all to climb to 5th place in the general ranking. Despite the defeat, Laval remains first with two points ahead of Angers.
