LinkedIn: more users and engagement

The number one professional social network is doing pretty well! After reaching 900 million members in January 2023, it already has 30 million more today. A global success with significant growth over the past three months, particularly in India with 4 million new users, in the United States with 3 million more and in Brazil with 2 million more.

Obviously, it is necessary to make the distinction between the number of members and the users really active, but that remains however a good indicator. Moreover, this good form is also reflected on the side of online activity with, according to Microsoft, “record levels of engagement” and a 15% increase in the number of sessions connected to LinkedIn in the first quarter.

By gradually approaching one billion users, LinkedIn’s figures are impressive. But, keeping the actual level of engagement secret and communicating having broken a “new record” in every report since 2028, it would be interesting to know a little more…

Anyway, the hundreds of millions of Internet users on LinkedIn should soon benefit from new tools with artificial intelligence sauce. The partnership between the Microsoft parent company and OpenAI should make it possible to integrate new automated functions to improve profiles and more broadly the user experience.

On paper, the menu is enticing and this should increase the engagement of Internet users a little more!
