Linzer vanilla ice cream – cheapest ice cream is test winner of an AK test

Ice cream lovers have to shell out quite a bit: the most expensive vanilla ice cream scoop of the nine that was examined by the Chamber of Labor in a test costs a proud 3.50 euros. Compared to 2020, you now pay around a third more for the sweet refreshment. Only one sample failed due to quality defects.

The consumer advocates had vanilla ice cream portioned in styrofoam boxes, which they had purchased at the stands of nine ice cream parlors in Linz, examined. No germs at all were detected in this case. Pay attention to hygiene at all costs Hygiene deficiencies are not easy to recognize, but can lead to nausea, vomiting or diarrhea. The sample that failed the test exceeded the intended warning value for bacteria and can trigger exactly these symptoms.
