Lucie Lucas delivered a beautiful message of tolerance during the rehearsals of the seventh premium of Dance with the stars, this Friday, October 29. The Clem actress notably broached the subject of femininity and the question of gender, revealing her desires to become a boy, when she was a child.

During the seventh Dance with the Stars premium, this Friday, October 29, Lucie Lucas worked hard to achieve a contemporary dance and get the ball rolling. A very difficult challenge for the actress of Clem, very little confident. During rehearsals, the actress gradually opened up to try to express her emotions. The young woman then wondered about the notion of femininity. “I have a masculine side and a feminine side, it all mixes up and that’s what makes me who I am today”, she explained just before hitting the dance floor. But the mother also shared more personal details about her past: “When I was little I kept telling myself ‘But why am I a girl, I wish I was a boy’ and then afterwards I was very proud to be a woman but I rejected my masculine side.”

Now a mother of three children, Lucie Lucas wants to send them a strong message: to accept yourself as you are. During this bonus, the star of the series Clem brought up the case of one of his children: “I saw one of my daughters asking a lot of questions about her masculine side and her feminine side, that she felt more boy or more girl, but also wanted to take on both.” A very important subject for the actress, particularly touched by this question of predefined genres. Between two contemporary dance movements, the 35-year-old woman highlighted the evolution of current society: “I think we’re in a time when you shouldn’t be afraid to accept everything you are.” A beautiful message of tolerance.
