Little Orpheus: The latest game from The Chinese Room studio is out on all platforms

Little Orpheus is an independent game from the British studio The Chinese Room, developers behind the cult horror game series Amnesia, and the walking-simulator Dear Esther. The game was originally released exclusively on iOS for Apple Arcade in 2020, and was still in development until then as it had ambitions to be released on all platforms.

That’s it, the little independent game Little Orpheus, which had remained very discreet until now (what an idea to release a game exclusively for iOS), has found a release date on all consoles. It releases March 1 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Switch, Android, as well as PC on Steam and the Epic Game Store.

To summarize, Little Orpheus, is placed temporally in the 60s. Where the Americans decide to send Men on the Moon, the Soviets prefer to send a Man in the other direction, directly in the center of the earth. The game is a completely crazy and crazy platformer, where nothing makes sense, and where everything is excessively big.

This new release comes with textures, animations and improved graphics for the occasion. What’s more, this release on consoles and PC comes with a new episode, the 9th, titled “A Rush of Onion to the Head” (the game had 8 episodes at the base). Few tests still exist on the game, but from what we see, Little Orpheus sounds like a strangely interesting experience.
