The LiveWire S2 Del Mar soon back to order
At the beginning of May, the LiveWire division at Harley-Davidson formalized its brand new S2 Del Mar electric motorcycle. In the process, the brand announced that it had sold all the stock of the version Launch Edition in a record time.
Today, the American firm announces the return of pre-orders for this same S2 Del Mar, with a new burst of reservations scheduled for September 27th. Note that these will not be models Launch Editionbut many standard models, and that we can therefore expect a price of around 15,000 dollars (against 17,699 dollars for the Launch Edition).
Remember that this new electric motorcycle signed LiveWire was designed using the Arrow platform, and offers a power of 60 kW, for a weight of 190 kg. A less powerful motorcycle, but also less heavy than the very first LiveWire.
A new model for a new clientele
Indeed, with this second electric motorcycle, LiveWire intends to erase the mistakes made with the first model and attract new customers along the way, by offering a more seductive motorcycle, but also less expensive.
On the performance side, the LiveWire S2 Del Mar will allow you to overcome the 0 to 100 km / h in just 3.5 seconds, without forgetting a range of around 160 km.
It remains to be seen now how many copies will be offered, and on what date the first customers will be delivered. Answer next Tuesday, September 27, therefore.
