Lizzo was considered the favorite for the Super Bowl halftime show. According to media reports, it has now finally been removed from the plans.

Discussions about appearing at the famous Super Bowl halftime show in Nevada have taken an unexpected turn. Lizzo (35), who was discussed as a favorite for the show and should follow Rihanna, will now apparently not be on the stage at the Super Bowl in February 2024.

The allegations against Lizzo have resulted in her being removed from the running for the Super Bowl Halftime Show. An insider from the NFL environment confirmed this to the British “Daily Mail”. It said the response to the allegations prompted the organization to immediately pull Lizzo out of the running after her name was previously floated as a top candidate. “All chances that she is part of the show have burst,” it continues.

Lizzo’s team tries to ‘save the sinking ship’

The situation also seems extremely difficult for Lizzo’s team. Because since they were removed from the potential squad for the Super Bowl, there has been a desperate struggle to save their careers and reputation, writes the British tabloid. An anonymous source said to be close to the singer told the Daily Mail that the team was “desperately trying to find a strategy to save her sinking ship.”

Earlier in August, the curvy singer and entertainer, who markets herself as a body positivity activist, found herself at the center of a high-profile scandal. Three of her former dancers filed a lawsuit against her, accusing Lizzo of creating a “hostile work environment”.

According to the Daily Mail, since the lawsuit was announced, additional women have spoken out about negative experiences with the artist. The lawyers representing the first lawsuit should therefore already be examining claims from at least six other former dancers.
