Animals were nervous
The Micheldorf volunteer fire department was alerted to the Heiligenkreuz district at around 10:30 p.m. “The tent is torn, which is why it must have collapsed,” reports first deputy commander René Sperrer-Rachlinger. There are said to have been hoofed animals in the tent at the time, including llamas, goats, horses and donkeys. “You could tell that the animals were very nervous,” said Sperrer-Rachlinger.
