Logitech Announces M650 Signature, New Quiet Office Mouse

2

Logitech is expanding its range of office mice at the start of 2022 with the M650 Signature, a designer wireless model with very quiet clicks, available in different sizes and colors in addition to a version for left-handers.

The M650 Signature announced by Logitech is a rather refined office mouse design reminiscent of the excellent MX Anywhere 3, with fewer features, yes, but a price halved.

Available in white, black (graphite) or pink, the mouse is designed to adapt to all hands, a large version being offered alongside a “normal” size. Left-handers will also be (partly) satisfied, since this large version will be available for them, unlike the smaller size, which is intended only for right-handed people.

Silent clicks to please our ears

It’s definitely a new fad among manufacturers, the main mouse buttons are silent here, like what can be found on recently tested models, in particular the Razer’s Pro Click Mini or in the Stream Desktop Recharge pack. by Cherry. An interesting feature, especially so as not to disturb those who share your workspace, at the office or at home. On the other hand, the disengageable wheel is “intelligent” and makes it possible to accelerate the scrolling of a document or a page according to the intensity of the movements applied to the wheel.

The mouse connects to a computer using Bluetooth, the Logitech Unifying receiver being phased out, but you can also use the Logi Bolt dongle sold separately, even if it is more intended for businesses. Autonomy side, it is announced at two years using an AA battery, which is more than comfortable and over the long term avoids the problems inherent in rechargeable batteries.

As a bonus, the mouse is partly made of recycled plastic – 64% for the graphite model, but only 26% for the white and pink. The M650 Signature will be available from January 17, 2022 at an indicative price of € 45.
