While the iPad 10 has just been formalized, Logitech unveils the new version of its Crayon.
A new “Pencil for iPad” better thought out and cheaper than the Apple Pencil 1….
USB-C for Logitech Pencil
Made official a few hours ago, Apple’s new iPad 10 is obviously full of new features, including a noticeable switch to USB-C. A more complicated transition for the Apple Pencil 1 stylus, compatible with the latest Apple tablet, but still limited to the Lightning port, and which therefore requires a dedicated USB-C adapter (sold for €10) to work with the new iPad 10 .
For its part, Logitech lifts the veil on a new “Crayon for iPad”, already available on the Apple store, at a price of €79.95. A stylus that promises writing as precise as on paper, and which is adorned… with a USB-C port. For comparison, the Apple Pencil 1 is displayed at a price of 119 €.
Admittedly, the stylus signed Logitech is a little less enduring than the Apple Pencil 1 (7 hours of autonomy against 12 hours), but it must be admitted that the Pencil for iPad should be the preferred choice of many buyers of the new iPad 10, which will thus get rid of an embarrassing adapter, while saving around fifty euros.
