Loire At 77, he threatens his ex’s new companion with a knife


This Tuesday, February 2, around 4:30 p.m., Place Victor-Hugo in Roanne, a 77-year-old man saw red.

He had just met his former companion who was walking with another man, aged 75, whom he knew to be his neighbor. Crazy with jealousy, he then insulted and then threatened the new companion with a butcher’s knife.

Placed in police custody, he defends himself

The perpetrator was arrested at his home and taken into custody. He admitted the facts and explained that the man he had attacked had a “bad influence” on his ex-spouse.

The septuagenarian was offered an appearance on prior recognition of guilt (CRPC) for “violence with a weapon”.
