Loire End of the run for the escapee from La Talaudière remand center

Less than a week ago, we echoed a statistic that 90% of fugitives were caught less than six months after their escape to France. The figures were reliable with the end of the run, this Wednesday morning, of the prisoner who had made himself beautiful, on February 4, from the remand center of La Talaudière.

The individual, a dangerous 22-year-old repeat offender, whose criminal record was already blackened with 24 convictions, disappeared into the wild for more than a month.

Arrested as he was about to board a train

This Wednesday morning, the sleuths of the judicial police of Saint-Etienne, with those of the BRI (Research and Intervention Brigade) of Lyon, arrested him before he boarded a train which was to take him in the Paris region. According to our information, the fugitive would have multiplied several round trips between Ondaine and the Parisian suburbs where it would seem that he benefited from support to help him on his run.

A surveillance and spinning device

In charge of the investigation, the civil servants of the PJ of Saint-Etienne, set up a device of surveillances and spinning which made it possible to go up to the prisoner. The latter should be presented in front of a judge before returning behind bars.

His arrest was made without violence. The police had a fear: that the individual, if he managed to obtain a weapon, could use it. He did not hesitate to shoot twice, on January 22 and 29, when he tried, with his sidekick, to take control of branded vehicles in Feurs and La Fouillouse.
