Loire The Voice: the adventure continues for the Loire residents Léna Maire and Kevin Yven

Léna Maire and Kevin Yven continue to chart their course. The two candidates from Loire engaged in TF1’s flagship tele-hook “The Voice” survived the test of “cross-battles”, this Saturday, April 23, and are getting closer to the semi-finals.

What are cross battles?

After the battles, during which the coaches oppose the candidates of their own team, the cross-battles see the coaches opposing each other. One of them chooses one of his talents and designates the coach he will challenge. The latter in turn opts for one of the “voices” of his team and each candidate performs the song of his choice.

At the end of the performances, the public present in the studios votes to designate the winner. For the losers, there is then one hope: to be drafted by his coach. But the latter can only save one member of his team.

The weeks follow each other and are not alike for our two candidates. During the last broadcast, Léna Maire had trembled until the end. Performing an ABBA title, she had not convinced her coach Vianney, who had preferred Illa to her. Fortunately, Amel Bent had fished it out in extremis and integrated into his team.

However, the two women met again this week, Illa performing a title by Adele (“Turning Tables”), Léna Maire opting for “Dying to love” by Charles Aznavour. And this time, it was the Stéphanoise who won the public vote, with nearly 80% of the vote.

Roannais Kevin Yven can thank Florent Pagny. Last week, the coach preferred him to Thomas, after their duet on “You raise me up” (Josh Groban). This Saturday evening, he used his only joker to save him, after the public preferred Caroline Costa’s performance on “Quand on n’a que l’amour” by Jacques Brel to her interpretation of “Love again” by Dua Lipa.

Next step for our two Loire residents, the “super cross battles”.
