LoL: A Div 2 player in the top 10 of the SoloQ ladder

League of Legends players are never the last to tryhard and they have a tendency to get obsessed with their ranking in soloQ. Whether you’re Bronze (like Joel) or Challenger, everyone wants to earn LPs. But if among simple amateurs, there is no real interest except for flex in his group of friends, among pros and aspirants, the soloQ remains a very important indicator to be spotted and win legitimacy in the community.

And a player Div 2 carried the colors of his league loud and clear by integrating, for a moment, the top 10 of the european ladder. Obviously, there is no trophy at stake and we imagine that he would prefer to obtain an LFL contract for next season. But the performance remains remarkable and we wanted to send him our congratulations.

A Marseillais finds a place in the sun

It’s Lanzo”Zicssiflay” Ciajolo who managed to integrate my top 10 of the EUW ladder. The MCES jungler thus took a screenshot where we see him with 1288 points, posting a ratio of 173 wins for 115 losses (i.e. more than 60% of The Marseillais must make more than one dream and even if at the time of writing this article, he was ejected from the famous top 10 (13th), he remains in contact with the first places and can still boast of to be this high. To get to this place, by peeling his OPGG, we noticed that he has excellent statistics with very meta junglers: Xin Zhao, Diana and Viego. Qiyana’s case is a little different, but if the champion is difficult to go out in competition, the soloQ jungle offers him more possibilities.

His good individual form can also be seen in official matches. Div 2 champion in the spring, Zicssiflay is also to his advantage since the recovery with MCES. With 4 wins for 2 losses, the team is well established at the top of the standings, knowing that it also had to start the Summer Split without its star ADC, Frappii. Next week, MCES will cross swords with TPAA and we imagine that the players will want to reap a 3rd consecutive victory.

Zicssiflay, in contact with very large sizes

The MCES jungler isn’t the only name we’re familiar with at the top of the European ladder. We thus find several other pro players like MAD Lions Unforgiven (MAD AD) or SK Sertuss (SRTSS) which have respectively 1526 and 1338 points. But the big difference is that these two players play in the LEC, in the European elite. Zicssiflay is in Div 2, in a much lower level… But despite his more modest status, he shows that on the soloQ field he is capable of competing with the best. If we show a bit of chauvinism, we could wonder if he doesn’t deserve a little tryout with a big European team. To maximize his chances, we advise the Marseillais to stay at the top of the ranking as high as possible while continuing to play well with MCES in Div 2 of the LFL. On League of Legends there is no secret: hard work and regularity always pay off.

Let us also take this opportunity to talk about the case of MagiFelix. This former LEC (Astralis) player is renowned for being a soloQ freak. Season after season, he manages to set up several Challenger accounts (and often playing several roles). Currently, he is still crushing the competition with his MagiFelix5 account which peaks at 1686 dots. It’s far from being his record (he’s already reached +1900 points), but it’s already very good!

lfl-lol

Today is game day in the LFL. On the program, two well-known French League of Legends teams meet: Solary and Karmine Corp. But if the poster unleashed passions, it gradually fell into line… To the point of being a match like the others?
