LoL: EUM notebook, perfect start for Karmine Corp?

LFL, Div 2, LEC, LCS, LPL, LCK… there are many acronyms on the League of Legends competitive scene. It’s easy to get lost and it’s hard to follow everything! Hold on tight, because right now you also have to watch the EUM (European Masters), a tournament that more or less corresponds to the Europea League of football. This competition brings together the best teams from the ERL (European Regional Leagues) and the French league has 4 teams involved: LDLC OL, BDS Academy, Karmine Corp. and Vitality.Bee.

We will carefully follow the course of our teams and we hope that they will manage to bring the cup home once again. To do this, we took out our ballpoint pen and our notebook to assign, step by step, a note. We start gently with the group stage of the Play-In, where the Karmine Corp and Vitality.Bee made a copy rather very clean.

La Karmine Corp pattern size (16/20)

Just look at the ranking to get an idea of the level difference there was in Pool D. Karmine Corp. may be in the Play-In, but he’s a really big fish in the EUM. Double reigning champion, the structure mainly counts in its ranks a certain Rekkles… the best ADC in the history of the LEC. For him, the Play-In of the European Masters is a bit of a sandbox where he has no problem trampling on the constructions of the other kids in the area. We don’t know if you fully capture the picture, but KC rocked it from start to finish. Obviously, there were some individual mistakes right to left. But we have the impression that it played mostly in total relaxation for the French team, who were also there to have fun and regain confidence after a complicated campaign in LFL. At the level of macrogamthere was also no photo.

Also noteworthy is the performance of Rekkles. We do not know if he was personally affected by his team’s frustrating 3rd place in the French league. But we found it particularly reassembled since the beginning of the EUM. Often targeted by enemies, he redoubled his efforts to differentiate and bombard his opponents. Often criticized for his passivity, he was even caught doing big dashes with his Zeri to force aggression. It only bodes well for the future. 16 seems like an honest rating. We could have put more, but we keep in mind that opposite it was rather very weak.

Vitality.Bee, watch out for careless mistakes (13/20)

Vitality.Bee ensured the essentials: to finish in first place in his group to qualify for the Knockout Stage and avoid a big fish that could have been the Karmine Corp. From an accounting point of view, the contract has been fulfilled and with 5 wins for one defeat, the balance sheet is necessarily satisfactory. On the first day, we frankly found the players very impressive. Individually, Szygenda delighted us with very aggressive picks (Akali, Lucian) and collectively the bees had turned into a steamroller. But the 2nd day then passed by there… Even if Vitality.Bee has experienced players in its ranks who have tasted the LEC, we were scared. We don’t know if it was a story of pressure, but for a moment the team broke down a bit. Beyond his surprise loss to Iron Wolvesshe also had all the trouble in the world to get rid of For The Win Esports. His start to the game was catastrophic and we thought for a moment that we would have to play a tie-breaker from hell to secure first place. The only good news is that the talent, the bees came back little by little. Forceps, talent, they scratched a precious victory which for a moment seemed unexpected.

The rating of 13 seems rather deserved for Vitality.Bee. Without being catastrophic, this note also sounds like a warning. You have to be careful and not let your guard down. While the bees have never managed to join the EUM Main Event (in 3 attempts), this time we hope it will be the right one.

esport-lol

It’s a little phrase from Jankos that didn’t fall on deaf ears. To prepare for the clash League of Legends against Fnatic, the Samurai have a limited number of scrim partners. We could have imagined that the Karmine would be there, but apparently, KC refuses.
