In recent days, the French have been quite busy defending the country during the Pixel War, notably facing attacks from the Spaniards. There will also be a fight on League of Legends with the start of the EUM Main Event, which will not be lacking in French players.

The European Masters somewhat play the role of the Europa League in Football. In addition to seeing a good game, it also helps to revive a little chauvinism in different European countries. In France, we will push hard behind the LFL teams hoping to confirm our status as best ERL. The majority of the French players involved will represent our national league, but at the EUM, the teams are free in their recruitment. We have therefore spotted other tricolors playing in foreign championships. Here is the list of French people to follow.

The French of the LFL

There aren’t really any surprises for these French people. We have been following them since the beginning of the year since they play in the LFL, in the French league. We notice however that even if we have this year 4 representatives, the teams don’t make much use of tricolors… We say that, we don’t say anything. Even if we understand that for reasons of competitiveness, structures want the best, it’s always a bit funny.

  • LDLC OL : Eika and Exakick. The French champions defied all predictions. Eika and Exakick, already present in 2021 with the Foxes, have shown an impressive level of play this year. While they have never won the EUM, they would like to add this prestigious trophy to their list.
  • BDS Academy : Sheo is the only French representative of BDS Academy. This former Killer is on an irresistible upward trajectory. Last year he was in Div 2, today he almost won the LFL and will represent France at the EUM.
  • Karmine Corp. : we don’t really need to introduce Cabochard and Saken, the two Frenchmen from Karmine. Brilliant since the beginning of the year, they once again showed authority during the Play-In of the European Masters. They both won the competition last year and hope to continue their streak.
  • Vitality.Bee : among the little bees, there is only one Blue and that is Skeanz. However, he should not be neglected and he plays a key role in his team. It usually takes quite a bit of resources and has a jungler carry profile. While he has already had a taste of the LEC, he would surely like to return to the big European stage…and that will go through a big performance at the EUM.

French abroad

For the Main Event of the European Masters, there will be only one Frenchman from abroad to follow. We don’t promise to support his team, especially if he faces an LFL team. But we will still follow it carefully.

  • Eintracht Spandau : this structure was founded by influencers and takes a bit of the model of Karmine Corp. The French fiber is even more visible if we look at the roster where we find Prime. Attention, it is not the other CEO of KC, but it is a support that we have already seen in LFL on the side of GameWard.

The French who were eliminated at the Play-In

We pushed behind them during the Play-In, but these French people have already taken the door… They didn’t manage to reach the Main Event but we still decided to mention them, national solidarity obliges.

  • KRC Genk Esports : Guertas and Numendiel played for a Belgian team. Unfortunately for them, they finished last in their group. They still saved the honor by winning a small game. It was short but intense and we are happy to have been able to find our former residents of the French circuit (Div 2 and Open Tour).

esport-lol

France is inevitably a little sad after the elimination of Vetheo during the LEC playoffs. But the tricolor could not cope with the enormous collective performance of G2 Esports. We had the opportunity to speak with Targamas, the Belgian support of the Samurai. He believes in the title and dreams of MSI!
