The North Americans have decided to weigh down our morale and after 7 consecutive defeats against G2 this year, EG has finally found the solution, plunging the Samurai into doubt at the same time. Inspired, the former LEC MVP was excellent and did no favors. On the European side, the performance of the botlane raises questions… When we combine the KDAs of Flaked and of Targamas on this match, we get a tasteless 0/10/0. It sucks when you’re drafting a Draven/Thresh duo in bot lane. We’re also not really sure we want to see it again. Jankos on his Lee Sin (0/2/1). We respect the Pole for his immense career, but he showed his limits during the Worlds. Overwhelmed, the veteran is no longer able to compete with the best junglers in the world and he was eaten alive during the night, by Inspiredby Canyon and by Kanavi.

The second week of the Main Event has so far been a disaster for our LEC representatives. With the zeros pointed by Fnatic and G2, we remain on a 0-6 which is very scary. Both historical rivals have foundered and in both cases it feels like the players weren’t mentally strong enough. Each time, a surprise defeat against an NA team seems to have disturbed the spirits by creating a lot of doubts. At Fnatic as at G2, no one has managed to find the key to restart the machine. Remember that even if caps and Jankos are very experienced players who had always passed the pools at Worlds until now, players like Targamas and Flaked are rookies at this level. Broken Blade is also a bit new, he has never beaten the groups. Talking about a lack of experience sounds like an excuse, but you can talk about a lack of leadership and character.
There is only one European representative left in the competition: Rogue. Undefeated at the Worlds for the moment, the team is in a very good position in Pool C. But after the double rout of the LEC teams, there is room for doubt. hope that Odomne and his friends manage to raise their heads to get our region out of the crisis.
