Yesterday, the Internet user TOR Yuri (kamenyurisen) dropped a huge bomb… With supporting evidence, she insisted on exposing a member of an LEC structure for “problematic” behavior. This sweet understatement won’t fool anyone though, if we say the terms, she accuses, rightly or wrongly, a person of being real human shit. Excuse us in advance for the few flowery words used, which however perfectly transcribe the heaviness of the accusations.
Obviously, we are not in a position to confirm or refute the statements made by Yuri. The latter may have gathered a large number of elements to illustrate its charge, we will try to remain a minimum neutral while awaiting the response of the person concerned. But we are talking here about the accusation of racism, of anti-Semitism and of statutory rape… Dirty atmosphere in LEC, especially since the structure in question would have defended against wind and tide its presumed member problem.
The heavy charges against EXCEL Fosty
The person currently in the mix is Aleksić Aleksa, better known as Fosty. He is Social Media Manager at EXCEL Esports and notably has more than 20,000 followers on Twitter. Very active on the networks, he has significant exposure within the community. But for once, we imagine that he would have preferred to stay in the shadows rather than see this very big bad buzz burst. To try to better understand the case, here are the main facts alleged against the accused
- Accusation of racism : Fosty would have had misplaced remarks against people with dull skin. But above all, he would have greatly forced on the Japanese origins of Yuri with inappropriate words. Referring to painful historical elements for Japanese nationals, in the published screens he would have said in a sexual context “I’ll do to you the same as the USA did to Japan” during the Second World War. He would then have added “you are more dominated than Japan in 1945“. We don’t know if we can laugh at everything, but it’s certain that we can’t laugh with just anyone. There’s no humor when the interlocutor is hurt.
- Accusation of Nazism and pro-Hitler speech : Fosty would have a fixation on Hitler and he would have insisted on defending him on many occasions in private discussions but also in group discussions. Defending such a dictator after the crimes he has committed is unforgivable.
- Accusation of embezzling minors : this case is a little more controversial and on the networks, we have seen quite diverse reactions. Fosty is 23 today and for the past few years he has been insistently flirting with underage girls, possibly as young as 16. Some defended it, but the majority of the community cried out in disgust labeling it a “pointer”. It’s hard to say without having the facts, but with the “older” and “influencer” combo, we inevitably have reservations about Fosty’s practices.
EXCEL, better late than never to react
All of these accusations are already problematic. But what raises even more questions is the fact that initially, EXCEL Esport defended his social media manager without trying to go any further. When Yuri contacted the British structure a month ago, she would have had no response. Fosty would have kept his place as if nothing had happened. It is for this reason that the user wanted to make the case public, to change things and obtain justice, for her but also for the other alleged victims.
For once, a first objective has been fulfilled. We don’t know whether to rejoice, but EXCEL announced late at night (past midnight), to suspend Fosty and open an investigation (internal and external). The latter has announced that he wants to cooperate to clear his name, but in the face of such accusations it may be complicated. In any case, social media justice is not real justice. But sometimes a TwitLonger has more impact than a official statement… Sad life to have to come to this.
