LOL: Last One Laughing: Michael "Bully" Herbig presents comedy hits

Michael "Bully" Herbig presents the new comedy show "LOL: Last One Laughing". The top-class cast has now also been confirmed.

A few days ago it was rumored, now it's confirmed: Actor, director and screenwriter Michael "Bully" Herbig (52, "Der Schuh des Manitu") will host the new comedy show "LOL: Last One Laughing" (Amazon Original) . And it gets even better. Ten of the most successful comedy and stand-up professionals in Germany accept the challenge in the six-part show. You should make your colleagues laugh, but you shouldn't move your face. Because "whoever laughs is thrown out" and "whoever laughs last wins", it says in the message.

That's the weird ten

These comedy professionals have signed up for the format: Anke Engelke (54), Barbara Schöneberger (46), Carolin Kebekus (40), Max Giermann (44), Kurt Krömer (45), Wigald Boning (53), Torsten Sträter (54 ), Rick Kavanian (49), Mirco Nontschew (50) and Teddy Teclebrhan (born 1983).

Stand-up, comic characters, improvisation and full physical activity are in demand, according to the announcement. Everything is filmed and "Bully" monitored every little facial derangement in the control room. Apparently he had a lot of fun doing it: "Just think about school. Everyone knows what it's like when you are not allowed to laugh. It just keeps getting worse. And so it was for the colleagues on this show for six hours in one piece, "he says. "I almost pissed myself off laughing."

If you are the last to laugh at the end, you will receive prize money of 50,000 euros, which will be donated to a good cause.

An international success

"LOL: Last One Laughing was already a hit on Prime Video in Japan, Mexico and most recently Australia," said Philip Pratt, Head of German Originals, Amazon Studios. "I am particularly pleased that we are not only gaining ten of the country's most popular comedy stars for our German version, but are also able to put the cherry on top of the wonderful comedy cake with Michael Bully Herbig as host."

The German version of the international comedy reality format from Prime Video will start in spring 2021 in Germany and Austria as well as in over 240 other countries and territories exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.
