But the Belgian will finally be able to turn the page! After having waited for long months on the Fnatic bench, he found a way out! The orange and black structure said goodbye to him and in the process the player formalized his new team. Obviously the latter evolves in the LEC and we will therefore have the opportunity to see Nisqy again in the European elite. This is good news for him, but also for us! We can’t wait to have him interview for the Summer Split.
Nisqy roars with pleasure!
In a trumpet-driven musical stream, Nisqy announced that he was now the midlaner of MAD Lions. The secret had not been well kept and we suspected that the announcement was imminent, after the formalization of the transfer of Reeker to BDS Academy. But even unsurprisingly, happiness was on the face of the player and in the chat. In front of more 10,000 viewers, the Belgian expressed his joy at returning to the front of the stage. We imagine that watching the competition behind his screen, without participating, was not easy for him…
During this forced break, however, he did not twiddle his thumbs. He streamed very regularly and played soloQ a lot to stay in good shape. Some asked him why he didn’t join a team ERL to wait. But Nisqy always had one goal in mind: get back to the LEC as soon as possible. Playing in ERL also meant taking the risk of regressing.
Objective playoffs and more if refined with Nisqy?
MAD Lions has won the title of European champion twice in 2021, which places the structure among the top names in the region. But Spring 2022 was much more complicated. Following the departures by Humanoid and of Carzzy, the Lions struggled, collectively and individually. They failed to qualify for the playoffs (7th) and the two rookies, Reeker and Unforgivenfailed to make up for the departure of their elders.
For Summer, Nisqy will bring his good humor but also his experience. The playoffs, it knows him and with the Belgian MAD Lions seems armed to find the final stages. The leaders also hope for a possible top 3, qualifying for the Worlds. It will be complicated, but with Nisqy, fans can dream again. We will also notice that mischievous wink of fate : Humanoid replaced the Belgian at Fnatic and he found a new home in the Czech’s former team.
