The Essence Bazaar is one of the League of Legends community’s favorite events. Veteran players who have already managed to buy all the champions and accumulate blue Essences in an uncontrolled way throughout the year find in this event the opportunity to use the most useless currency in the game and accumulate cosmetics. Chromas, icons, beacon skins or even a skin are some of the items we will have the opportunity to obtain between June 28 and July 12. However, there is bad news regarding the future of this event.
The Bazaar of Essences is closing its doors indefinitely
When the next Essence Bazaar closes, Riot Games will shut down these events indefinitely. The developer explained the situation by stating that he had to revamp the system because it is “so inefficient that it interferes with other projects, like events and missions. We’re not only going to make the Bazaar more efficient, but we’re also working to improve its navigation before it comes back.” This last point has been one of the recurring complaints from the community every time this special shop has been available in the game.
Riot Games wanted to point out thatthis is not a final farewell, emphasizing in his message that he is committed to bringing back the Essence Bazaar in the future. We will therefore not have access to the store during the preseason, and its return should probably take place in the middle of season 13. In any case, it is impossible to estimate a date with certainty. Everything will depend on the developers’ ability to move forward and the priority they place on its return to League of Legends.
So we only have to take advantage of this particular shop once this year.. So far, the full list of cosmetics that will be available has not been revealed, but there will definitely be some surprises and exclusive content that we will be happy to spend our Blue Essences on. In addition, Riot Games has promised a distribution of 30 Fantastic Essences to compensate for the inconvenience:“To make up for the hiatus, we’re turning the three gem icon packs into a series of three missions (matchmade games in the Rift or ARAM).
