For Rekkles, chat, like League of Legends’ ping system, can be more harmful than helpful.
“From experience, people don’t give useful information to others”, he explained. “The only times people give information is when they’re pissed off…and they just want to type something stupid, ping you six times, or spam you with question marks, whatever doesn’t bother you. not help.”
