LoL: Riot donates Battle Pass sales for humanitarian aid in Eastern Europe

Publishers are mobilizing against the war in Ukraine. While Microsoft has already suspended its Russian market, DOOM and the Pokémon Company have decided to support the country financially with the creation of an additional paying level for the first and a donation of 200,000 dollars has been made for the second, Riot Games’ turn to contribute. The Californian publisher behind League of Legends has indeed decided to donate the sales of the battle passes of its various titles but also those of the Bee skins that recently arrived on the MOBA in order to support the efforts of humanitarian aid in the region.

Donations on all studio games

From March 5-12, all Battle Pass sales within VALORANT, Legends of Runeterra, Teamfight Tactics, and Wild Rift, as well as the new Bee skin line in League of Legends, will donate to support the efforts of the humanitarian aid in the region.

In addition to the player-supported fundraiser, Riot will donate $1 million distributed among three nonprofit humanitarian organizations:

  • International Medical Corps
  • Doctors Without Borders
  • Polish Red Cross

The amount raised from Riot donations as well as player fundraising will directly support humanitarian aid in Ukraine and affected regions.
