League of Legends patch 12.21 will bring a lot of new features, including the 162nd champion, the aptly named K’Santé, but also a whole new skin theme. One of them will be very particular since it will be a prestige, created in collaboration with the singer Lil Nas X.

League of Legends is set to welcome Season 12’s ultimate champion, K’Santé, the Pride of Nazumah. As with each release, the champion will receive a first skin, a first skin that belongs to a whole new theme, those of the Empyreans – but not only. Indeed, for several weeks, Riot Games had teased that K’Santé would receive a prestige skin created in collaboration with Lil Nas X which, if you haven’t followed anything recently, is the interpretation of the song from Worlds 2022.

A prestige far removed from the basic skin

Previously announced by the current “president” of League of Legends, Lil Nas X, the rapper has designed with several developers from Riot Games the prestige skin that will be released with K’Sante called “Empyrean”. The prestige skin decided by the artist is now on the PBE and will be available on November 3rd worldwide and unlockable until November 14th.

It is true that the base skin is very different from the prestige edition. This is mainly due to the fact that the studio left a lot of freedom to the singer, who was able to really put his mark on it. It won’t appeal to everyone, but thanks to it, we could say that K’Santé will receive not one but two really different skins upon release.

League of Legends

The skin will not be available for direct purchase, but can be unlocked by playing League of Legends or Teamfight Tactics during the Worlds 2022 event. Players will need to earn in-game currency (around 2000 Worlds Tokens) to unlock the skin permanently. There are two ways to reach this amount of chips: play like crazy until you get them all and save, or pay to get the 2000 chips straight away.

After Riot Games’ first in-game partnership with Louis Vuitton, this prestige skin created with Lil Nas X is the first in-game collaboration with an artist in the MOBA, giving players the opportunity to celebrate this unforgettable partnership with a unique and special skin. .

After a first cinematic, Riot Games has finally shared with the League of Legends community all the skills of K’Santé, the pride of Nazumah and 162nd champion to join Summoner’s Rift.
