LoL: They went through Fnatic and the LFL…

Not everyone is a fan of seeing FEBIVEN and maybe soAZ, wearing Mirage Elyandra’s jersey for the promotion tournament. The two former Fnatic players may be popular, but the “mercenary” side always gives purists pimples. We don’t know yet if it will happen, especially for the former top laner, but on our side, we will still be delighted to see these two legends of the game at work, who thrilled the European community during their visit. at the house of fnatic.

Casually, by going through the archives, we found quite a few players who went to both the orange and black structure and to LFL. For fun, we made a small list, taking into account only the players who really played at Fnatic in order to avoid simple substitutes.

Fnatic icons: Rekkles, YellOwStaR and soAZ

Impossible to miss these icons which are part of the history of fnatic.

  • Rekkles : with Fnatic he won 4 European champion titles and he is surely the best ADC in history on the old continent. He landed in the LFL to great fanfare for the 2022 season and he’s getting a ton of love from ultras at Karmine Corp every week.
  • YellOwStar : the former captain of Fnatic won the EU LCS 5 times with the team, sometimes as an ADC, sometimes as a Support. The Frenchman also won the LFL with LDLC as a manager. To prolong the pleasure, he also returned to the field as a player for several segments with the Foxes, winning the EUM once.
  • soAZ : before joining Mirage Elyandra as a position/sub coach, he also had a taste of the LFL as a coach at LDLC OL.

Fnatic players who made an impression

League of Legends

These players went to fnatic. They didn’t always win or they didn’t necessarily stay very long, but they still made a remarkable passage within the structure.

  • Self made : he stayed a year and a half at Fnatic. During this period, he was twice European vice-champion and he also had a respectable run at the Worlds (quarter-final). He has also established himself as one of the best junglers in the region. In LFL, he only made two small matches with Vitality.Bee this year as a supersub… on top!
  • Steelback : the French made a quick stint at Fnatic, but fruitful. He discovered the EU LCS in Spring 2015 and immediately won the title of European champion, replacing Rekkles, who had gone elsewhere. He achieves a respectable MSI, before giving back his place to the Swede. Reconverted as Support, the tricolor won the LFL with LDLC before joining Vitality.Bee then Solary.
  • Adam : the adventure of the little prince of top lane at Fnatic was short, but rich in emotions. He only played one segment with the team, but he got a nice 2nd place that took the structure to Worlds. Too bad the budding love story ended badly… In LFL, he obviously wore the colors of Karmine Corp and now plays for BDS Academy.

Other Fnatic players from the LFL

League of Legends

  • Kikis : the Pole has played a lot of roles in a lot of teams. He only made one segment at Fnatic, rather average (5th/6th place). In LFL, he didn’t do much better with 4 small games at MCES.
  • Jesiz : he stayed a year at Fnatic as a support. The year was rather complicated with a 3rd place in the Spring as in the Summer. But the Dane didn’t give up and the adventure ended on a high note, with a quarter-final at the Worlds. In LFL, his career is also honorable with interesting results at Misfits Premier and Team GO, in the role of coach.

lfl-lol

The arrival of Team Herectics in the LEC will have many consequences on the competitive scene of League of Legends. Indirectly, the LFL will find itself upset… A place becomes available and speculation is rife as to who will get the slot.
