The first edition of the program that has become cult, launched in April 2021, offered to discover a simple, but terribly effective concept. Actors, comedians and comedians are gathered in a loft with a common mission: to make their opponents laugh without breaking down themselves. The most stoic of them, the last candidate in the running in this funniest game, allows the association of their choice to obtain the sum of €50,000.

For this first season, Prime Video brought together an eclectic cast: Julien Arruti, Tarek Boudali, Gérard Jugnot, Fadily Camara, Hakim Jemili, Reem Kherici, Kyan Khojandi, Bérengère Krief, Alexandra Lamy and Inès Reg.

If we can note several anthological moments, such as Gérard Jugnot’s costume session or Bérengère Krief’s Yoga class which almost killed the latter with laughter, it is the photomontages of Kyan Khojandi that come to mind at first glance. evocation of the first season. With the narrative touch that gives all the charm to his humor, the creator of Brief presented his finest creations. “Cheetah” Jugnot still haunts us…

A sequence which left no one indifferent, except perhaps Alexandra Lamy and Julien Arruti. The two actors, who reached the final, remained in control until the end and could not be decided. Through their joint victory, La Maison des femmes and Les Restos du coeur each pocketed the sum of €25,000.

After the success of its first season, LOL: Who Laughs Sort made its comeback on Prime Video for a new season with a completely renewed cast: Gérard Darmon, Melha and Ramzy Bedia, Éric Judor, Alice David, Audrey Fleurot, Camille Lellouche, Ahmed Sylla, Panayotis Pascot and Just Riadh.

Even more numerous are the highlights of this second edition, from the arrival of the legendary duo formed by Éric and Ramzy to the distorting films of Just Riadh, but none equals what is in our eyes the absolute apogee of LOL: the presence of the great Gérard Darmon.

Famous for his cult roles in City of Fear and Asterix and Obelix: Mission Cleopatra, this legendary actor punctuated the second season of LOL with a myriad of anthology moments. Whether he sings, plays the piano or simply pretends to smoke a cookie is enough to put his formidable opponents in PLS, and the spectators too! Special mention for his Joker card, a furry animal fashion show.

An excellence which allowed him to reach the final against the singer and comedian Camille Lellouche, at the end of which a tie was declared. According to their wishes, the Adapei Var-Mediterranean associations and the Maison des femmes were designated to receive the promised donation.

Season 3 – 2023

The third and final edition of the program to date, this year’s brought together Jonathan Cohen, Leïla Bekhti, Adèle Exarchopoulos, Pierre Niney, Géraldine Nakache, Paul Mirabel, Virginie Efira, François Damiens, Gad Elmaleh and Laura Felpin.

To everyone’s surprise, François Damiens and Gad Elmaleh, true tenors of humor, were ousted from the competition from the very beginning in favor of a formidable young generation.

The real star of this third season, actor Pierre Niney was the source of numerous yellow and red cards, synonymous respectively with warnings and eliminations, with sketches such as his song “Good foot, good eye” or his legendary imitation of Thomas Pesquet, which earned him a friendly response from the astronaut on social networks.

With such a track record, it is not surprising that the actor was named the big winner of this third season, at the end of which he was able to donate his winnings to the Robert Debré association for medical research.

The first three seasons of LOL: who laughs, comes out! are to be seen and rewatched, now and exclusively on Prime Video. LOL: whoever shouts, comes out! can be discovered from October 26, exclusively on the platform.
