When Ohad sees his father, there is no stopping him

The hostages handed over to Israel by Hamas meet their relatives again after seven difficult weeks. A scene shown in the Israeli media will be remembered beyond the day: nine-year-old Ohad falls into the arms of his father, who was longingly waiting for him.
After the release of several hostages after seven weeks of captivity in the Gaza Strip, there is great joy in seeing them again. A video published by a clinic and distributed by Israeli media shows how nine-year-old Ohad Munder sees his father, waves and then both run towards each other in the hallway of a clinic. The man takes his son in his arms and kisses him on the neck, as can be seen in the video.
The boy was released from hostage detention in the Gaza Strip along with his mother and grandmother on Friday. The video also shows how the two women warmly greet their relatives. After returning to Israel, the released people were initially taken to hospitals for examinations. According to Israeli media, the boy’s grandfather is still in the hands of Palestinian terrorists. The child therefore had his ninth birthday during the time of captivity.

A hospital also released images of released five-year-old Emilia Alony hugging and smiling with her grandmother upon reunion, as seen in Israeli media. Islamists had held the girl and her mother in the Gaza Strip until Friday.
