Lost Ball 3 on Netflix: the first information on the sequel to the action film with Alban Lenoir

A year after the release of the second part on Netflix, production of Balle Perdue 3 has just started in the Paris region.

Good news for fans of the French action franchise Balle Perdue. The third part, announced more than a year ago, has just entered production in the Paris region.

Guillaume Perret returns to service behind the camera, just like Alban Lenoir, always ready to rev up his car engine. Stéfi Celma and Nicolas Duvauchelle will also be there.

The teams hope to raise the level of intensity and action a notch with Lost Ball 3, filming of which will also take place in the south (notably in Montpellier and Sète according to Free Midday):

We are approaching this shoot with more serenity but also a lot more at stake. There is no question that the public will get tired of it. For the third film, all the cursors were raised, particularly in terms of the storyline. The writing is even more impactful. It’s very galvanizing“, declared producer Rémi Leautier at French moviecontinuing with the action scenes that it promises to be “more dangerous, more important and more impressive“.

Everyone who survived episode 2 is back”, affirmed the director at the Parisianreassuring that new characters would appear, with interpreters “amazing”.

“Lost Ball 3 will be an almost direct sequel to 2, with small returns to the past, to clarify the gray areas of certain characters. It will also be a slightly more choral film than the previous ones, because there is the trajectory of many characters to conclude.”.

At this time, no further information on the storyline has leaked. One thing is certain, Netflix subscribers will still have to wait before seeing Lino and his team on their screens again. With filming which will continue in 2024 and until March 2025, the release of Balle Perdue 3 on the streaming platform is not expected right away.

This third opus should conclude a high-profile trilogy for Netflix since Balle Perdue is one of the most seen French films internationally. It remains to be seen whether this sequel will do as well as the others.
