A halal grocery store located in Bon-Encontre (Lot-et-Garonne) was set on fire overnight from Saturday to Sunday. Swastikas were also drawn on the walls.
No casualties are to be deplored, reported La Dépêche. According to information from the regional media, the police have expressed no doubt about the criminal nature of the fire.

Despite the rapid intervention of firefighters, around 1 a.m., the establishment, which had opened its doors at the end of last November, suffered serious damage and the interior was destroyed.
Once the fire was brought under control, the firefighters then discovered Nazi symbols painted on the walls.
“The investigation will have to determine if this is an extremist act against this halal trade,” a police official told the daily.
