Lots of celebrities there – legendary game at the inauguration of the Lungau Arena

After two years, the new living room of the 2nd Landesliga Süd club USK St. Michael was completed. The inauguration celebration, which lasted several days, had a lot to offer.

The construction period took two years. The celebrations increased at the weekend when the new “Lungau Arena” was inaugurated. On Saturday, the St. Michael old men played a friendly match against the “Copa Pelé.” The legendary team, which included ex-professionals such as Heimo Pfeifenberger, Walter Schachner, Paul Scharner and Toni Pfeffer in their ranks won the game 6-2. On Sunday there was a penalty shootout with Otto Konrad between the posts. The 2nd Regional League South game between Lungauer and St. Veit (7:0) took place in mid-August. Laurent Seiringer
