Lovecraftian Days 2024: Stygian: Outer Gods and Decadent announced, a bunch of new features for sprawling games

Even though Howard Phillips Lovecraft died almost 90 years ago, his Cthulhu Mythos continues to fascinate creators, including video game developers. This week the Lovecraftian Days 2024 on Steamorganized by Fulqrum Publishing. The opportunity for several studios to slash the prices of their games and make announcements.

We were treated to two new games presented, first with Stygian: Outer Gods, a survival horror with mechanics RPG in which players will have to investigate an ancient mystery by playing a mercenary accompanied by a strange woman. A first-person horror game that will serve as a prequel to Stygian: Reign of the Old Onesthe first trailer can be discovered above. Stygian: Outer Gods does not yet have a release date.

The other game revealed is Decadent, a FPS narrative that will put us in the shoes of an Arctic explorer, veteran of the First World War who embarks on a terrifying journey under the backdrop of occultism. A title that will offer an oppressive atmosphere, intense combat and mental health management. The first video can be seen just below, there is still no release date.

As for the other announcements, here is what you should remember:

  • THE Old-school FPS Forgive Me Father 2 is entitled to its first update during its Early Accesswith new levels, a secret to unearth as well as new weapons and enemies.
  • Pool of Madnessan improbable billiards game in the universe of Cthulhu with a mode VRoffered himself a short video of gameplay.
  • The gothic horror game with cards The Foretold: Westmark Legacy is dated April 30.
  • Skelethrone: The Chronicles of Ericonaa 2D platform game metroidvaniasees its release date set for May 7.
  • Harvest HuntTHE survival horror cosmic roguelike anchored in European folklore, will be released on May 22.
  • SKALD: Against the Black PrioryA RPG retro in a world of dark fantasy violent, will arrive on May 30.
  • KVLT (pronounced “Cult”), a FPS narrative during the Second World War, is playable thanks to a demo, which offers a ninth update with a bunch of fixes.
  • QubiQuest: Castle Crafta castle building and survival game in a medieval world, will have a faction inspired by the writings of Lovecraft, the Acolytesrevealed in a new trailer.
