LR Presidency: Sébastien Chenu (RN) wishes Éric Ciotti “good luck”

Deputy RN Sébastien Chenu wished Thursday, July 28 “good luck” for the presidency of LR to Éric Ciotti, one of the few according to him to “still have a little political courage” among the Republicans, but without “delude oneself“.

If I say bad things about Eric Ciotti, I won’t be very sincere, I think of them rather well, but if I say good things about Eric Ciotti, we’ll probably embarrass him“, said on CNews the vice-president RN of the National Assembly and himself a former member of the UMP (now LR). “What Republicans fundamentally lack is courage, and since they do not have the courage, those who want to talk to us, (because) there are Republican voters and elected officials who would like to be able to engage in dialogue with the National Rally, they will be embarrassed if they are told that it is good“, he added. “Éric Ciotti is probably one of those Republicans who still have a bit of that political courage, there aren’t that many of them anymore, so I wish him good courage and good luck, even if I have no illusions about the outcome of everything that“, concluded the deputy from the North.
